Space Coast history
This isn't a new board off a factory floor.
It's a genuine vintage surfboard from the 1970s —
shaped during the same decade astronauts were walking on the Moon and the Space Coast was buzzing
with the electricity of a species doing the impossible.
The board will be hand-painted by a local Cocoa Beach artist: the Artemis II SLS rocket and Orion spacecraft in the foreground, a full moon rising behind it.
There's something sacred about the Space Coast. This is where humanity learned to leave Earth.
Cocoa Beach and Cape Canaveral are where surf culture and space culture grew up side by side — salt water and rocket fuel sharing one stretch of Atlantic coastline. It's also the birthplace of 11-time world surf champion Kelly Slater.
Kristin Fisher, founder of Endless Void Studios, grew up playing in these same waves — spending the days before liftoff on this beach, waiting for her two NASA astronaut parents to leave Earth.
This is where surf culture meets the space age.
